  2. Membership

Membership

Disability Action has always been a membership organisation.  Membership is open to organisations and includes small disability groups to larger disability organisations.  We have around 100 member groups.

Our aim is to have a strong and diverse membership that will help us to inform policy and strategy that address the issues that disabled people in Northern Ireland face.

Directors are nominated by our membership and member organisations have voting rights at Disability Action’s Annual General Meetings.

Membership is only open to organisations.   To find out more about how to become a member please contact our Head of Policy Nuala Toman T: 028 9029 7880, M: 07967 322639, E: [email protected]

If you are an individual with a disability you can find out more about how to get involved.

“The Northwest Forum of People with Disabilities is a member organisation of Disability Action because our participation in the campaign to promote awareness of and protection of our human rights is genuinely encouraged, supported, valued and respected in the delivery of policy goals and services Disability Action has campaigned and delivered on for over 30 years across Northern Ireland”
