We undertake assessments on behalf of Driver Vehicle Agency (DVA), Motability and for private clients.  There are 3 different types of assessments

  • Driving Assessments
  • Motability Managed Assessment Programme
  • Passenger Assessment

 Driving Assessment

  • This is an on road assessment of driving ability and can last approximately two hours.  If you are attending for a private assessment Disability Action will require medical information from you or your GP regarding your fitness to drive.
  • The assessment also includes visual screening to ensure that a person's vision meets the necessary guidelines for continued safe driving. Before attending for an assessment it is recommended that you have your eyesight checked to ensure your vision meets the legal standards for driving.
