Members join Disability Action for lots of different reasons.  Often the benefit of membership will depend on what the member organisation is hoping to achieve.  Please talk to us about becoming a member so that we can work with you to find out what will benefit your organisation the most.  There are some standard things that are offered to all members.  These include:

  • Free subscription to the D-Brief – a policy-focused newsletter relating to disability. This publication will be published at least six times a year.

  • Sharing your work - we can help members spread the word on their work by using our website news and events section to share information.  We will share information on our social media channels to help you reach a wide audience.

  • Campaign Support – we can help you campaign on a particular issue, raise it at different levels and use our website and social media to support your campaign.

  • Policy Development – when developing policy we consult with disabled people and our members.

  • Room Hire – one day’s free use of Disability Action’s accessible meeting rooms and 30% discount on any future bookings (excluding catering costs).

Members can also avail of the following services:

  • Information Days – staff from a range of Disability Action’s services can provide information days.

  • Free subscription to Disability Action’s monthly E-zine.

  • Free subscription to Disability Action’s weekly Northern Ireland Assembly Monitor (when the Assembly is sitting)

  • Free subscription to DA News.
