Being able to drive gives you the independence to go where you want, when you want.  Let us help you get in the driving seat!

Disability Action can help you in all aspects of driving – from practical and theory lessons to assessment and information and advice.

01.10.2021 We are looking for Approved Driving Instructors. If you are a qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and interested in teaching people with disabilities to learn to drive or would consider this as a new career read more below.

Car Theory Test changes: From 14 April 2020, the car theory test will include 3 multiple-choice questions based on a short video you'll watch. Read more.

    The Trussell Trust calls for evidence for an ambitious research project to better understand disabled people’s experiences of the social security system and the drivers behind the overrepresentation of disabled people being referred to food banks. This includes a comparative analysis of disabled people’s experiences of claiming Adult Disability Payments in Scotland, and Personal Independence Payments across the rest of the UK.
