What is the Disability Action Transport Scheme?

The Disability Action Transport Scheme (DATS) is a local transport service for disabled people, older individuals and those who find it difficult to use public transport. Available in 29 urban areas across Northern Ireland, DATS helps you travel for work, shopping, health appointments and more.

In order to use this service, a membership is required, with a small charge per trip.

DATS is an interim service which will operate until such time as the Department for Infrastructure has considered how best to meet the transport needs for disabled people across Northern Ireland.  DATS is funded through grant assistance provided by the Department for Infrastructure.

Download our DATS Leafet here for more information on our Service.
