Disability Action, through our Job Match programme, is taking part in the European Union of Supported Employment (EUSE) Conference on Supported Employment next week, 27-29 May 2019. 

EUSE facilitates the development of Supported Employment throughout Europe. Supported Employment assists people with disability or disadvantage to access employment opportunities of their own choice and to become economically independent and socially active.

The overall theme - Transitions, for supported employment within Europe – aims to empower everyone to increase the possibilities for the employment market with innovative solutions and best practices. The conference themes are:

• Policy making and change of results
• Delivering quality support – what works?
• Transitions: careers and supported employment
• A Digital Future for Supported Employment

The Job Match team will be speaking on the theme ‘Transitions: Careers and Supported Employment’ illustrating how they are helping disabled people in Northern Ireland to find work. Read more.
