Disability Action have today published our d/Deaf and Disabled People’s Election Manifesto Election 2022 highlighting:

  • d/Deaf and disabled people are continuing to see the retrogression of our rights
  • The Disability Employment Gap is growing
  • Life costs more for d/Deaf and disabled people and our families
  • We do not have an adequate standard of living
  • There are not enough accessible homes, buildings, and transport
  • We are more likely to experience abuse
  • Educational segregation continues and the disability attainment gap remains unaddressed
  • We do not have adequate access to accessible play and toileting facilities.

It is long past time for change. We deserve full inclusion. Nothing less. Our Future Can’t Wait
