Nuala attended Disability Action this week for a driving assessment with our Driving Assessor Andrew Swain.  Nuala is applying to renew her provisional driving licence, however due to her medical condition she has not driven a vehicle for over 25 years and was unsure if driving would be possible.  Following the assessment it was recommended that she would be able to learn to drive in a vehicle with automatic transmission.  The team at Disability Action wish Nuala every success in the future and look forward to seeing her on the road once she passes her driving test”.

This is what Nuala had to say :

Firstly, My sincere thanks & gratitude go to Andrew for his caring way during my assessment, To say I’m ecstatic is an understatement, honestly, cannot thank Andrew enough, for giving me the opportunity in being able to learn to drive 🚗😍. This will give me my independence back, from which my illness & disability which have robbed me from for 28 years, but my main incentive to drive is for my three grandchildren, to be able to bring them places & especially to their so much loved family caravan,(Granny’s Caravan).  This will make my dreams come true. Thank you so much Disability Action 👍😍❤️
