Welcome to our 3 new Supported Employment Officers - helping disabled people throughout N.Ireland to find paid work.

Conor Crooks is job sharing with Lauren Portis who both provide our services in the Armagh, Lurgan, Newry and Portadown areas. Conor joined Disability Action and the Job Match team for our core values - that society today has to be inclusive and adaptable to meet the needs of disabled people, rather than one that expects them to fit in.

“I find great pride and job satisfaction in our desire to promote, protect and uphold the human rights of disabled people,” said Conor.

Catherine McGlade will provide Job Match services in the Bangor, Newtownards and Holywood Road areas. Catherine has worked as an Employment Officer with Mencap in the Belfast area for the past 8 years. “I am so excited to be working with the team at Disability Action. I am looking forward to broadening my knowledge and learning new ways of working,” said Catherine.

Catherine has 2 amazing sons, loves travelling, spending time with family, watching Love Island, having the odd glass of wine and is not a fan of home-schooling!

Leona Donnan is covering Laura Loane’s maternity leave in the Dungannon, Enniskillen and Omagh areas. “I’m delighted to be joining this wonderful organisation and looking forward to my new role as Supported Employment Officer and look forward to meeting all the team, participants and businesses in the coming weeks and months," said Leona.

Leona has 14 years experience in education and has the necessary skills and experience to deliver the Job Match programme.
