Do you work with, or have you worked with, disabled people? We are interested in what you have to say.

This online survey is part of a research project led by Disability Action NI in partnership with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC).  The ‘Is it Me?’ research is looking at how attitudes within the social care system impact on the independent living choices of disabled people'.

We work together with a Co-production Research Partnership made up of disabled people and academics who are experienced in understanding the rights of disabled people. It is funded by the DRILL (Disability Research on Independent Living and Learning) Programme.

Who can take the survey?

Any professional working within the adult social care system that is registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) can take this survey. It is for workers who are currently working with disabled people or who have done so in the past.

Why are we doing a survey?

We want to learn from professionals providing adult social care services about their experiences of working with disabled people, and what you think about attitudes to independent living for disabled people. What you have to say will inform our research and help support good practice in the social care system.

When does the survey close?

The deadline has been extended until Friday 26th July 2019. To fill in the survey please open this link:
