Libraries NI Digital Citizen Project Posted 10.07.2019 Libraries NI is running a new project called the ‘Digital Citizen Project’ (DCP). The DCP project, funded by Department for Communities, aims to deliver digital learning throughout Northern Ireland. The courses are aimed at people with limited digital skills can be delivered in formal group sessions or in learner led one to one eClinics. eClinics – Short one-to-one IT advice and help sessions (30 – 45 minutes) Go-On group sessions (1 – 2 hours) – see below. Training sessions for groups and individuals and this support can be offered in a library or in a community setting. Training sessions can be tailored so that participants get exactly what they need to become a confident user of the internet and other digital technology. Examples of Group Sessions: Basic IT skills Introduction to email Intro to iPad/ More on the iPad Photos on iPad eBooks & eMagazines Online Shopping Travel Health Online Social Media Scams Awareness Online Privacy There is no cost associated with delivery of sessions.
