Learning or re-learning to drive can be a daunting experience but don’t worry, here at Disability Action we have a team of dedicated staff that will support you along every step of the way.

We have been providing practical driving lessons to disabled people for over 30 years.  All our instructors are fully trained and are experienced in teaching people with disabilities.

All our cars are automatic and we also have cars with a wide range of adaptions and modifications so that you can drive with comfort and control.  These include push pull hand controls, left foot accelerators, hand controls and infra-red systems to operate switches.

We are currently only able to provide driving lessons in the Greater Belfast Area. Please contact us for information on other driving schools across Northern Ireland with auto transmission.

Driving lessons cost £40 per hour and include:

• Fully trained and qualified driving instructor
• Automatic car with adaptions/modifications if needed
• Driving advice
