One of the key purposes of the funding was that DPO’s themselves are strengthened and sustained to provide vital advice and support and enable local action for local needs.

Over the next week we will be posting stories which highlight the importance of empowering disabled people to raise their voices and design projects.

We want to ensure that disabled people are taking funding decisions for disabled people, as they did in this NET funded programme, using their local knowledge.

And whose objectives are the rights and equality of disabled people.
