  1. Harkin International Disability Summit June 22

Harkin International Disability Employment Summit 7- 8 June 2022

Updated 08.06.2022

Belfast International Conference Centre
Belfast, Northern Ireland
7- 8 June 2022

Day two at Harkin Belfast. Follow #HarkinBelfast on Twitter for live updates throughout the day.

Following the success of the Harkin International Disability Employment Summit in Iowa in 2021, The Harkin Institute is bringing the Summit to Belfast Northern Ireland for the first time, working in partnership with the Northern Ireland Executive’s Department for Communities.

Conceived in 2016 by Senator Tom Harkin, the Harkin Summit is internationally recognised as a platform that brings together leaders and activists across Business, Government, Philanthropy, the Third and Voluntary Sector, and Academia to highlight and address disability employment issues, showcase best practice and success, build relationships and challenge for change.

Harkin Belfast 2022 will provide a platform for individuals and organisations to challenge for change, celebrate and share success, and positively reframe the narrative on how we approach, support and enable persons with disabilities to achieve their career goals and aspirations.

Sign up now to help positively reframe the narrative on how we approach, support and enable persons with disabilities to achieve their career goals and aspirations.

Welcome to Harkin Belfast.

In 2021 leaders and activists at all levels globally were invited to develop and submit expressions of interest for items they want to deliver as part of this exciting two-day Summit. Now the programme of featured speakers and presenters is almost finalised and Harkin Belfast will feature presentations from experts and on-the-ground initiatives from all over the world, including:
