During Hate Crime Awareness Week, there has been much debate over whether misogyny should be made a hate crime in the UK. What has not caught as much attention is the increase in disability hate crime over the last 12 months. It’s time for policymakers to finally make good on their promises to protect the most vulnerable in society.
