Our Face2Face Group are in London for a few days - working to change things for ALL disabled people in N.Ireland.

On Tuesday 28th January the Face2Face Group met with Simon Chambers, Erasmus Head, at the British Council Headquarters in London. It was a great meeting and the group is looking forward to building on it's success as young Disabled Leaders.

On Wednesday 29th January the group had a busy morning and met with Jim Shannon MP at Westminster to talk about Transport, Education and Government Training for Disabled People. With assistance from Jim the group now has action plan.

Later in the day the Face2Face team met with Stephen Farry MP and enjoyed taking the time to discuss advancing / protecting Disability Rights post Brexit with him.

The Face2Face project is an opportunity for disabled people aged 18-24 to work with new people, learn about their rights and work to change things for ALL disabled people in Northern Ireland.

Disability Action is working in partnership with Youth Action NI.
