    A new study commissioned by the Trussell Trust, and conducted by the Scottish Centre for Social Research, has provided information about the drivers of hunger among disabled people and the reasons behind the significant overrepresentation of disabled people referred to food banks.

  • Reclaiming Independence and Dreams: Nuala's Driving Journey with Disability Action

    Nuala, after a 25-year driving hiatus due to a medical condition, has found hope and independence with Disability Action. Thanks to a successful assessment by Andrew Swain, she's set to learn to drive with an automatic transmission. Nuala's joy is immeasurable, driven by her desire to take her grandchildren on adventures, especially to their beloved family caravan. Disability Action has paved the way for her dreams to come true.
