The Civic Initiative is examining socioeconomic rights under the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement in Northern Ireland. They have four stages of public participation and offer travel reimbursement for those in the Republic of Ireland border counties. Nuala, after a 25-year driving hiatus due to a medical condition, has found hope and independence with Disability Action. Thanks to a successful assessment by Andrew Swain, she's set to learn to drive with an automatic transmission. Nuala's joy is immeasurable, driven by her desire to take her grandchildren on adventures, especially to their beloved family caravan. Disability Action has paved the way for her dreams to come true.
