Disability Action is the largest pan-disability organisation in Northern Ireland and a registered charity.
Disability Action is a Disabled People’s Organisation (DPO), meaning we are led by and for disabled people.Our mission is to promote, protect and uphold the rights of disabled people, tackling barriers to equality and inclusion in all areas of life.
We provide:
- Information, Advice and advocacy for disabled people and their families.
- Training and capacity-building to strengthen disabled people’s voices in communities.
- Support in accessing and Sustaining employment, to enable independent living.
- Transport, accessible community transport to facilitate independence and participation.
- Driving assessment and Lesson support through the Northern Ireland Mobility Centre.
