Nothing About Us Without Us.
At Disability Action, disabled people are at the heart of everything we do. Our experiences shape our services, inform our campaigns and help us build a more inclusive Northern Ireland for everyone.
Ways to Get Involved with Disability Action
Consultations and Surveys
Have your say on issues that matter to disabled people. We seek feedback on public consultations, policy proposals and campaigns to influence decision-makers.
Focus Groups and Workshops
Join discussions with other disabled people to explore issues in depth, share lived experiences and help develop practical solutions to common challenges.
Partnerships and Alliances
We engage with disabled people, organisations and government in a number of groups and forums. We may be very involved, for example, Co-Chairing a group or just have a member of staff attend. A list of the groups and forum we are involved with a listed below.
- All Party Group on Disability
- Hate Crime Advocacy
- Disability Housing Forum
