Our Job Match team has organised an information event for Job Match participants and disabled non-participants to provide an opportunity to meet with some of our supportive employers who will advise attendees about key aspects of approaching job applications and the general recruitment and selection process.

Employers participating in the event include Power NI, Enterprise NI, Dog Ears, Premiere People, Paper Owl.

They will offer expert advice on some of the following topics:

  • What makes a good job application?
  • Sharing information about your disability: when and how?
  • Work trials and interviews - what to expect?
  • Making Reasonable Adjustments - what can employers do?
  • What skills do employers look for?
  • How do I get support with my business idea?

They will also discuss any employment and career progression opportunities.

The event will take place virtually on Thursday 10th March at 11am—1pm. If you would like to attend, please get in touch with your Job Match Supported Employment Officer who will provide further details including what employers will be available to speak to you on the day. Or email Michael Moore [email protected]

Registration closes on Monday 7 March at 5pm.
