How we can help Work Job Match Meet the Employer Virtual Event on 10 March Posted 03.03.2022 Our Job Match team has organised an information event for Job Match participants and disabled non-participants to provide an opportunity to meet with some of our supportive employers who will advise attendees about key aspects of approaching job applications and the general recruitment and selection process. Employers participating in the event include Power NI, Enterprise NI, Dog Ears, Premiere People, Paper Owl. They will offer expert advice on some of the following topics: What makes a good job application? Sharing information about your disability: when and how? Work trials and interviews - what to expect? Making Reasonable Adjustments - what can employers do? What skills do employers look for? How do I get support with my business idea? They will also discuss any employment and career progression opportunities. The event will take place virtually on Thursday 10th March at 11am—1pm.
