Our Training & Learning Support Officers can help, advise and assist you to participate in training as well as gain valuable work experience.  

How we can help you:

  • Advise and help you get on the right course for you
  • Help you settle into your training course
  • Help you to become more independent and prepare for the world of work
  • Offer support to you on your work placement helping with your induction and understanding your job duties
  • Talk to your training provider and work placement provider about the changes they could make to help you
  • Help you to improve your communication skills as well as your literacy and numeracy
  • Help you to develop your confidence and self-esteem
  • Offer one to one learning support to help you get qualifications
  • Help you think about what you want to do when you leave training and prepare for the next steps
  • Assist with disability benefits advice and guidance
