Disability Action is aware of the pressures, anxiety and stress being caused to all in our global community in respect of Covid – 19 (Coronavirus). We are also very aware of the impact this is having on disabled people.

As an organisation we have put in place measures to protect our staff, volunteers and all those who we engage with on a daily basis. We are changing the way we work to ensure continuity of service and to support as many disabled people as possible during this period.

We continue to be in regular contact with respective Government Departments and all Political parties to ensure, as far as possible, interruption to services are minimised and supports for disabled people are continuing during this time.

As ever, Disability Action will continue to liaise and work with all allies throughout this time. We are heartened by the sector’s ability to pull together, we are up for the challenges ahead and we know that we can rely on the continued dedication of Disability Action staff.

Above all else, we are reminded daily of the resilience, ingenuity and leadership of the disabled community we work with, support and represent.

All offices will be closed to all but essential visitors. You can still get in contact with us by emailing [email protected] or calling 028 9029 7880 and your email or call will be diverted.
