This week our Disability Action Transport Scheme (DATS) took delivery of 4 new wheelchair accessible vehicles.

DATS Transport Manager Michael McNulty said:

Over the last 18 months Disability Action has continued to provide our transport service to both members and non-members. We have adapted how we work and our friendly office-based staff and drivers have assisted many people and local organisations with their transport needs - from grocery collection and deliveries to delivery of breast pumps for Tiny Life. These new buses will enable us to continue to provide a quality accessible transport service for disabled and older people, particularly as we start to move out of lockdown.

The buses are currently being prepared for the DATS signage to be installed before going out to provide essential journeys for members.

If you need transport assistance or would like to become a DATS member, call our team on 028 9029 7870 between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday, or click on the link below for more information.

DATS is funded by the Department for Infrastructure.
