Exciting news! Our DATS service is getting an electric bus!

Disability Action’s Transport Scheme (DATS), and each of our Rural Transport Providers, is getting a new electric bus as part of a pilot project funded by The Department for Infrastructure as part of the government's Blue/Green initiative.

A new charger point has been installed this week at our Headquarters in Belfast (by Houston Electrical Services Magherafelt) and we hope to get the bus (a LDV E80 supplied by HAJ Repairs in Bellaghy) next week once it’s tested.

This further enhances our fleet of vehicles to provide fully accessible transport for disabled and older people throughout N.Ireland.
