Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon has put further measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This includes the suspension of the Disability Action Transport Scheme service from 6pm on Wednesday 25th March 2020.

It's a challenging time for us all and the health and safety of our staff and service users is our utmost priority.  This an amazing service under pressure, and we are looking for new ways to support vulnerable people.

I want the community transport operators to be able to contribute to wider efforts to support the vulnerable so I will maintain their funding through this unparalleled period and my officials are willing to enter into discussions with operators to establish what scope there is for them to support their members and wider society during these times.” Minister Nicola Mallon
