Leonard Cheshire is looking for 10 young people in Belfast area to join Change Makers a free project run by the organisation.

Change Makers is a new citizen reporting programme for young disabled people aged 16-25, in 4 locations, Belfast, Manchester, Swansea and Glasgow. Providing training in how to become a Citizen Reporter, Change Makers will have the opportunity to create campaigns and make change in the local community.

During your six months on the Change Makers programme:

•    Becoming a citizen reporter
•    Creating a local campaign for change 
•    Highlighting important issues
•    Telling people about the things that affect you in your local community
•    Getting your voice heard

During the 6 month project change makers will be asked to attend one 90 min digital session a week with a group of participants from your areas, as well as taking part in some small independent tasks outside of sessions. The first session will be one 7th June 5pm.
