Benefits And Financial Help

People with a disability or carers often have higher financial needs than others. This can be because of a range of factors including reduced income, increased living expenses, travel costs and the need to buy expensive equipment. The Information Team can advise on statutory and charitable funding sources that may be available. We provide “better-off” calculations to ensure that clients are receiving all the correct benefits that they are entitled and can assist clients by helping them fill in forms.

The Information & Policy Unit have a number of factsheets on benefits please click on the links below. If any of the benefits you require are not listed please contact the Information Team at your nearest office. Information Officers can provide advice by telephone, email or in person.
