Case Studies
The Housing Project is currently gathering case studies from people with disabilities that live in different types of accommodation, whether you or your family own your house, rent your home from a private landlord or you live in public housing, we would like to hear from you.
If you would like to tell us your story, good or bad, in confidence please fill in the form below. Alternatively you can contact our Administrator, Laura Cleland (details below). Your personal details will not be included in the research findings.
Products Working Group
The Products Working Group research is also looking for disabled people or carers to take part in a pilot Products Working Group. The group will be made up of a range of people including: people with disabilities, manufacturers, representatives from the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, and other professionals.
This group will look at products/adaptations that disabled people have said they are having problems with. These products/adaptations were identified in research we carried out earlier in the year with disabled people. The Products may include the following:
1. Shower/s- Shower seat or aid
2. Baths - Bath aid or seat
3. Lifts
4. Ramps
If you have experienced problems or difficulties with any of these products and would like further information on how to take part, please contact our administrator, Laura Cleland:
