Benefits Uptake
Disability Action provides a range of information and advice services and over the next year we will be extending our services, through funding from the Department for Social Development’s Innovation Fund, to increase the uptake of benefits.
Throughout 2012 we will be running a series of Information and Advice Clinics across Northern Ireland so that people can find out about entitlement to benefits and access support to manage the claim process. Our experienced Information and Advice staff will also be available to give one-to-one support.
These sessions are an ideal opportunity to come and find out about what you may be entitled to. Even if you are already claiming benefit it is worthwhile coming along to make sure you are claiming everything you are entitled to.
We will be working in partnership with Oaklee Housing Association, who will be hosting many of the clinics at their venues across Northern Ireland.
