Imtac Recruiting for Committee Members

Imtac is looking for people who want to help make the transport system in Northern Ireland more inclusive for disabled people and older people in Northern Ireland.
Application packs are now available in a range of formats including an easy read version. Members of Imtac are expected to have:
- Experience of transport issues that affect older people and disabled people
- Represent the best interests of disabled people and older people
- Be able to give 1 1/2 to 2 days a month to Committee activities
Members will be selected by a panel including members independent of Imtac. Imtac members are not paid for their work but will receive travel and other reasonable expenses. Appointments will be for 3 years from April 2010.
The closing date for applications is 1st March 2010
