There are lots of ways your organisation can support the work of Disability Action.

Charity of the Year

Your company could adopt Disability Action as your Charity of the Year, focusing all your fundraising efforts to one objective.

Benefits to your organisation

  • Your company will further enhance its reputation as an organisation that recognises the importance of applying and implementing a programme of Corporate Social Responsibility and supporting local community.

  • You will be supporting your employees – remember, potentially 1 in 5 of them will have a disability, or will know someone who has.  Your employees are part of the communities in which they work.  They will know people who will benefit directly as a result of our partnership.

  • Increased customer loyalty – potentially 1 in 5 of your supporters, will have a disability.  Support for Disability Action is your statement of support and empathy for your disabled supporters and their families.

  • You will be setting an example to other organisations and clubs in Northern Ireland of the importance of celebrating and recognising diversity, accessibility and inclusion.

  • At a time when issues relating to disability are becoming increasingly topical, your organisation will lead the way in a high profile partnership with Northern Ireland’s leading pan disability organisation.

Payroll Giving

Employees can make regular monthly contributions to Disability Action direct from payroll. Payroll giving is an easy and, with attractive tax concessions available, an extremely valuable method of supporting the work of Disability Action in Northern Ireland. Employee donations could be matched by your organisation.

Sponsorship

Your organisation could consider sponsoring a Disability Action event – whether it be a Golf Day or Disability Action’s very successful biennial Gala Ball.

Potential Sponsorship Benefits to your Organisation

  • Principal Sponsors address
  • Branding on all event stationary/invites/emails
  • Pre-event PR – Launch Photocall
  • Branding opportunity at event
  • Photo opportunities at event and promotion in local media
  • Promotion of event and sponsor on Disability Action Website (average 8500 hits per month), Facebook (1,000 followers) and Twitter (5,000 followers)
  • Sponsors branding in Gift Bags

BT sponsorship of Gala Ball
