Some of your employees will be people with disabilities. By supporting Disability Action, your business will be actively helping a local organisation whose work has relevance for your employees and your business.
Below are just some ways your business can make a difference...
Company Donations - as a charity we rely on the support and generosity of the business community. A donation from your organisation will help us to develop our services in support of people with disabilities all over Northern Ireland.
Charity of the Year - perhaps you are interested in a more long term and focused method of support?. Your company could adopt Disability Action as your Charity of the Year, focusing all your fundraising efforts to one objective. Your whole organisation can be involved in fundraising events, with staff volunteering their time and resources in practical ways.
Give As You Earn - employees can make regular monthly contributions to Disability Action direct from payroll. Payroll giving is an easy and, with attractive tax concessions available, an extremely valuable method of supporting the work of Disability Action in Northern Ireland. Employee donations could be matched by your organisation.
Run your own Event - hold a Pub Quiz, a Night at the Races, a Barbeque... the list is endless. You can organise your own event, giving staff the opportunity to have a social get together whilst raising valuable funds.
However you decide to support Disability Action your business will be helping to make a real and positive difference to the lives of people with disabilities in Northern Ireland.
If your company would like to support Disability Action by holding an event, please contact claresheeran@disabilityaction.org
