Self-Confidence and Assertiveness

This two-day training course provides practical guidance for anyone who needs to develop their assertiveness skills and build confidence for a range of workplace situations. You will gain the tools and techniques to boost your confidence and build your self-esteem.

Aim

This programme aims to introduce participants to the skills needed to communicate more effectively, with a view to increasing self-confidence and enabling assertiveness.

Objectives

By the end of the session, participants will:

- Understand the most appropriate ways to communicate with others

-Understand the behaviours of self confidence

-Understand the three types of displayed behaviour

-Understand what assertiveness means

-Look at ways in which assertiveness can be used in everyday life

-Explore ways in which one can be more assertive.

Cost

This course is currently offered free of charge to people with disabilities and to the parents and principal carer of a disabled person.
