Carey Ann Clarke is the Training Co-ordinator for Disability Action Training Services. She is responsible for delivering our training programmes with the aim of bringing about positive change for business and people with disabilities.
Carey Ann joined Disability Action in 2007 and initially worked on a project to increase people with disabilities participation in all aspects of democracy before moving to the training service recently. She has worked within the voluntary and community Sector for over nine years. Much of her training focus over this time has been participation and promoting inclusion.
She has designed and delivered a wide range of courses and programmes in disability, equality, social exclusion and lobbying. She has worked closely with disadvantaged communities, Section 75 groups, public authorities, private sector and government departments throughout Northern Ireland.
All of our trainers have a disability and can therefore bring a personal as well as a professional aspect to all our training.
Carey Ann is assisted in the delivery of training by trainers from our associate network. Our associate trainers all have a diverse range of skills and experience in delivering quality training. All associate trainers are required to regularly attend update meetings regarding evaluation and training standards.
