Colin is responsible for managing all aspects of the work of the Centre on Human Rights for People with Disabilities.
Colin’s main intellectual background is in political philosophy and ethics, having completed a BA and PhD in Philosophy at Queen’s University Belfast, he also has postgraduate qualifications in teaching and computer science and is currently working towards a postgraduate degree in human rights law.
Colin has previously worked as a university lecturer and adult education tutor and independent consultant in the fields of ethics and human rights.
Colin is a Visiting Research Fellow in Ethics, Human Rights and Mental Health in the Division of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at Queen's University and a member of the panel for the Registration and Conduct Committees of the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
