About Us The Centre on Human Rights for Disabled People was established to secure the human rights of people with disabilities in Northern Ireland.
Our Vision
A population of disabled people who see the positive, independent and contributing aspects of their lives and who are supported to empower themselves to make those contributions to society.
A society in which non disabled people recognise the rights of disabled people to be different, to live their lives in a way which meets their particular needs without prejudice and unfavourable treatment.
A society, which is inclusive and which adapts to meet the needs of disabled people, rather than expecting disabled people to fit in.
